This is very true. I describe this in my book. Muslims in the West are sometimes more zealous than those back home. They feel they have to overcompensate to counter all the nonMuslim influences around. I just don't understand why these 'western' born/residing Muslims don't just move to an Islamic majority country more conducive to their religion. Part of me thinks it is freedom and societal benefit of afforded to them in the countries they hate.

That's because they enjoy the freedom to choose and so do not feel the pain. Whereas Muslim women in Islamic countries have no choice but to comply, or die-- and that is painful!
