Listened to this on Radio 6 and the simpering approval of the interviewer only increased my nausea. An instrument of brutal misogyny turned into a magic garment of personal discovery.
Question for education purposes. She mentions a veil in the article, which implies covering of the face, not just head & hair. Would that not be a niqab vs a hijab?
