Do they think only western women are entitled to freedom? Why are they supporting our subjugation as they demand emancipation for themselves? That’s pretty sickening. It’s more anti-woman than any patriarchy. Being betrayed by other women is so much worse.

Obviously many, many wonderful supportive, gracious women that fight alongside us are white and western too...Im speaking specifically to the ones who fit the description.

And stand in the way of other white women that are trying to support you and other women fighting imposed hijab. As if virtue only needs to be superficial and only for show, not for results

I take it Lieschen doesn’t keep up with the news here in America? That’s the only way I can explain her badly inaccurate take on white feminists (the radical ones, anyway) and the hijab.

Well they have a narrative to keep in tact you see, the one that says that they had to "fight" for their rights and that Western men totally didn't just hand them rights when they simply asked for them. That would make western men look too good and Western feminists too useless

Not all white women are pro-hijab by the way. And not all pro-hijab non-Muslims are white. Perhaps it’s best to just leave race out of this, rather than mimicking the regressive left and it’s unhealthy obsession with race.

I’m so sad the women’s movement that my grandmother fought in, my mom flaunted & I supported has turned into identity politics & male-bashing. We were to support & take joy in the growth & emancipation of each other.
I support freedom from hijab. - 1 more reply
