Times like this I understand @monaeltahawy telling white women to sit down and shut up on the topic of hijab.
Not all white women, of course. But betrayers of feminism, liberty, and humanity like @PJHarveyUK can shut the fuck up on this topic forever.

Harvey apparently claimed wearing the veil in Afghanistan was a freeing experience. There are Afghani women fighting for the freedom NOT to wear the veil.
Many ppl don’t get that it isn’t a choice for women. girls as young as 3 are made to cover their hair. There are girls who would like to wear her hair out outside and not be arrested for it. They pray for this freedom. It’s not a hip thing when it’s forced on others!
It's not about colour. There are black PJ HARVEYs that share her politics. Black Lives Matter are silent on black Muslim women's plight. It is about IDEOLOGY.
I absolutely love her music, so v disappointed to see this from her
