Why is @Ayaan demonized on the left while others (with lighter skin and lighter eyes) who have not overcome a *fraction* of what she has overcome are celebrated and drowning in accolades? Why are we treated so differently? It is beyond shameful and sad 
I still want to do a thorough comparison of reactions to the following women leaving their religions... Megan Phelps-Roper + Leah Remini + Ayaan Hirsi Ali. Each story is heartbreaking and heroic, but... 1/
Megan left a small non-violent church of 70-80 people. Leah left a larger, hassling but not violent cult of a few tens of thousands. Ayaan left a violent religion of millions. Yet Megan and Leah are celebrated and Ayaan is vilified by the same groups. 2/
Ayaan Hirsi Ali is a HERO to me. And, I concur, too many on the left miss the message. #WhiteWednesdays
His moral compass, sort of litmus test he spoke of in regards to Ayaan and her incredible story was spot on.
1. They're cowards against the truth on Islam. . 2. I believe its her unapologetic nature. How dare a women highlight the horrors of Islamic doctrine. Hitch introduced her to me and my wife. We have loved her ever since. Absolutely fearless.

But @Ayaan , the most rational anti-extremism voice will lose.
