Thank you, Samar. I’m disheartened that I have not really broken the silence yet. I’m trying xx

They have to shield her so that she won't be murdered for showing her hair.

Uber driver, yesterday, was a Turk living in Canada for 3 yrs.He didn’t look Muslim but told me he was, said he has had some issues with racists! Said it was his wife because of her hijab.I said if she is wearing because you insist then we can’t be friends, he immediately shut up
-
Good. We must identify the real racists

"No one stopped or huddled up or protected any of the women imprisoned, beaten, or killed for not wearing hijab." Yep. But do not let the hypocrisy weaken you or make you despair. We have a long fight to wage against the oppression of women. Stay strong, stay focused.

You know me well, Chandler xx

People should be able to wear what they want to wear.
-
That's exactly the problem. Muslim women usually aren't given a choice and are instead forced to wear hijab or face severe consequences.

It really would be a great experiment to drop some of these people off in some remote part of the world where the Nation ends in "stan" and let them live under Sharia Law for a few months just to see how much they enjoy it - they wouldn't last five minutes
