This @BridgetPhetasy #WalkInsWelcome podcast episode is one of the most important pods I’ve ever heard.
Two brave survivors:
- @YasMohammedxx’s extraordinary story
- During the “check in” after, Bridget shares the lingering trauma of being raped at 18.https://twitter.com/BridgetPhetasy/status/1184832759732170752 …

My very religious Jewish grandparents and great-grandparents - and all Jews of Mashhad, Iran - were forced to covert to Islam - or they’d be killed. So while very different, I felt a connection to your story and admire your bravery and tenacity.
