Tainting all Muslims negativity/using token Muslim leaders/parts of the Quran to prove something about Muslims/Islam is horrific anti-Muslim bigotry. People push specific token Jews/religious leaders/using parts of our texts to do the same to us. It will only lead to more hate.

I won’t argue with you on this issues, given your living expirience. I can’t say anything, but my intentions are to reduce hate.
-
I know they are. You’re a good man. But the comparison to Jews is a false equivalency. Jews share a religion and/or ethnic identity. Muslims only share a religion. They don’t share an ethnic identity any more than Catholics do. Criticism of Islam is not criticism of all Muslims.

People specifically identified in holy books for abuse should have a right to protest these holy books.

Agreed. And in that case, Hen and I both qualify.

Our intention should also be to reduce hate & human rights abuses instr. by ideology, be it political or religious. Ideas dont have rights. People do. Killing Apostates? Gays? The scripture sanctioning it? That gets my condemnation. Please dont shame criticism of those ideas.
