He has a weird fascination with other culture, and that's fine. He needs to keep that private. Playing out fantasies as an adult, and as the leader of a country, can be extremely embarrassing for it indicates a lack of awareness.
I was OK with it. It's true that Indian men are less apt to dress traditionally than women—but in Rajasthan he would have blended in perfectly dresswise. In my experience many Indians love to see westerners in saree or kurta. I thought he looked nice.
