There's no Mahdi in the Quran, no details on prayer, no mention of prescribed slaughter for meat. Who gets to decide which Hadith adds true details, and which are "innovations"? Men? Sounds like the process that corrupted all religions in the past.

Well, I feel that's where the Muslim ummah is lost, in rules. The forget the essence, the message, just follow rules,for instance. Plz think it over & tell me, what are we actually doing when we pray our daily namaz?

Perhaps you want Islam to be a better religion than it ever really was. Harsh rules have been fundamental to Islam since its birth. As an ex-Muslims, I would say these rituals serve the purpose of brainwashing. Breaking us away from reality and keeping us devout to the fiction.

Then all religions will make u feel that way. But you are free to choose, there's no compulsion on you. Quran says clearly, you & only you will answer for urself, no one else is involved. That's the level of freedom u have. U don't need to believe, ur free to decide
