It is relevant. We have terminology to describe it so that law enforcement can learn to recognize it. Failure to understand how it’s different is why Banaz in the UK went to the authorities 5 times and was ignored...then she was killed by her family. Google ‘Banaz: A Love Story’

Thank you. not only is it completely relevant - but it defines the terms here. Why do these men feel they are justified in acting this way? Their skewed, outdated and misogynistic concept of "honour" and notion of ownership over women's selfhood and autonomy
