Any campaign that seeks to only protect one class of people from genital mutilation is sexist. Either you work to protect all children from genital mutilation, or you're a hypocrite doomed to fail as the same arguments used to promote MGM will be used to justify FGM and IGM.
Different orgs focus on different things. Are campaigns dedicated to fighting prostate cancer sexist because only men have prostates?

Yes, and there are some key contextual differences that FGM activists focus on. FGM is about controlling girls’/women’s sexuality/purity.
