Habibtee, people don’t believe (I do) that the tradition of forcing women to be covered endures from the (garbage) idea that men are uncontrollable animals and might assault/rape a woman who isn’t covered, and thus the men aren’t responsible. I will appreciate your comment.

I appreciate the sentiment in many faiths, that ppl should be faithful to their own families, & not be tempted “astray.” Our own Theotokos, Blessed mother of Christ, is always shown w head covered, as all Jewish women were in those days. Somebody took this to a deranged extreme.
