But I'm simply saying that it's OK to criticise ideas, beliefs and behaviours. I do it all the time. But a small majority of racists DO use it to justify their bigotry. They muddy the water.

And then on the equally infuriating flip side, there are the virtue signalling idiots who label people like Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins, and myself, racist for criticising Islam along with all other religions.

I get that too. All the time. That’s why Im surprised you’d do the same thing. They have no right to label you or any of those fine men bigots...and you have no right to label anyone else either. The label is thrown around willy-nilly and that’s why ppl who could help stay silent

I didn't label anyone. I simply pointed out that some people don't understand the nuanced difference between hating Islam and hating ALL it's followers. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

Please understand that when someone at your level hurls ‘bigots’ and ‘racists’ at ppl criticizing Islam, you make it more difficult for rational ppl to speak up. You make it harder for us to find allies in our fight to be #FreeFromHijab
