So, if you shave your head, do you still have to cover your non-existing hair?
Yes, I actually asked my mom that when I was little and negotiating a way to not have to wear the ugly thing...I was told that Jewish women shave their heads and wear wigs so we can’t do that because we cannot be the same as nonbelievers
Most Jewish women do not cover their hair or wear “modest” clothing. Of those who do, most do not shave their heads. I think a small percent who shave hair are extreme religious sects. I know orthodox and Chabad women who wear wigs or scarves but have underneath.
You can’t be the same as non-believers? But islam is based on Judaism and Christianity, copying or modifying many practices. Halal is like kosher for example.
