Dear Yas ,I mostly spell Koran like so ..I am not Muslim but I have read Koran ..do u think Muslims read Koran from beginning to end ..? I feel they don’t, but rely on scholars to explain it to them .One Muslim that hadn’t read Koran scolded me because I didn’t spell it Quran.
You can spell it however you want in English. No, I don’t think they read it. Only 15% of Muslims read Arabic, and a significant portion are illiterate. If more Muslims read it and Hadith...there’d be a lot less Muslims.

Thank-you...Yasmine ..My thoughts are on the same lines .. The Koran is one thing and then I believe there are 7000 Hadiths but only 2000 or so are thought to be verified ... When I did read Koran ,I found it an effort to concentrate On the story ..but really there isn’t one.

It is true that many are decieved by English omissions from Arabic txt. The problem is that when confronted with Arabic Qur'an, every revelation is like a drop of water in hot oil.
