I'm not defending the garment, I'm defending someone's right to wear it. You seem to missing the simplest of points in that critiquing the wearing of religious clothing is one thing. Calling the women who wear the clothing letterboxes is dehumanising and ultimately bigoted.

It doesn't seem racist to me, he's discussing a religious custom that is on the more extreme side of things. It's legitimate to criticise infant male circumcision, despite its being a central tenant of Judaism, not just a custom.
