White people cannot reasonably be expected to take responsibility for white supremacists. Muslims cannot reasonably be expected to take responsibility for Islamists. Trans people cannot reasonably be expected to take responsibility for Jessica Yaniv.

Im consistent in that I disagree w all the above. It is our responsibility to criticize and try to correct the wrongs in our communities...otherwise, what’s the alternative? We all turn a blind eye and say ‘not my problem’? In Canada today there’s very loud condemnation 1

This is my stance to. Like it or not people unrelated to the crime would be held accountable. Just look at Germany post WW2. Most of these people actually didn't murder anyone.

That’s a great example. And all Germans really offered a huge mea culpa (and they still are). It’s necessary to take responsibility to keep your community accountable or things will go off the rails very quickly as no one else will take responsibility either.
