The pervasive narrative that one can claim to speak on behalf of all people based on commonalities such as skin colour is deeply disturbing. Hijacking ones individuality and pressing upon them the "right" opinion for their skin colour is incredibly insulting.
I recently watched a movie, @BestEnemiesFilm, (based on a true story) where white ppl who were against school segregation were harassed for betraying their skin color...
