This. I do think Ilhan occasionally has blindspots to conservative Islam, but I also think people are often horribly uncharitable to her. She is actually one of a few congresspeople that has condemned Saudi Arabia for example.

That’s true. She has condemned Saudi Arabia...because Saudi Arabia hates her. It’s not because she has consistent values-it’s because it’s a mutual hate. She would never condemn Turkey or Qatar, for example, because they are her MB allies.
