As you jump into a pool this summer, spare a thought for women living in searing desert heat under gender apartheid. Women in Iran and Saudi Arabia who must cover themselves in layers of fabric or get beaten, imprisoned, or killed. Support their fight to be #FreeFromHijab 
I live in the US and I see many Muslim couples every day. A lot of them are my neighbors. It's so sad to see the man wearing shorts and t-shirt, very comfortable and the woman completely covered when it's 100 degrees. Sad.
I was recently in Malaysia. I saw a Gulf Arab couple. The man was wearing a Hawaiian shirt, shorts and a straw hat and looked like a man on holiday. His wife swished along behind in full Niqab, no doubt faint in the heat and humidity. Quite a common sight.
During recent visit to Malaysia, I was a little surprised just how casually Muslim male tourists dressed. Man would be wearing cargo pants and rock-n-roll t-shirts while his wife was covered head to toe. #FreeFromHijab
Just saw this at the beach last week here in Michigan. I could not believe it.
How can whole generations of men not be able to put themselves in women’s shoes? To not see how inhuman it is to rule by violence? What are they afraid of? They sicken me to my very core.
That is their usual life over the ages.
