And the expats are kept locked up in compounds so they do not pollute the locals.

Kind of. Expats and nationals live parallel lives in the same land, but they rarely intermingle. I taught at a college where most of my students were nationals, so I was an exception, but yes-youre right-they generally live/work/play separately-but expats are freer than nationals

YES. I often get irritated talking to some people about Saudi Arabia if they've lived there, because they claim that they could get away with anything "so it's no big deal". BECAUSE YOU WERE ON A FUCKING COMPOUND. The local people can't do SHIT.

Yup. One of my good friends here grew up in Saudi and he can tell you all the stories about completely gated communities where women dress as they want to and have private night clubs and topless bikini pools ;)

I think there is something in the air of Canada that pollutes the mind .. The amount of stupidity in the minds of everyone who writes from there is unnatural

Thank u for saying the truth. I saw a concert in Jeddah last year with a friend n we were set up and attacked by officials. Nothing changed n it’s disgusting that the entertainment authority is showing off this fake image while the government of MBS is raping feminist activists.

A friend of mine went to a concert last spring and he said it was mostly visited by westerners. They were flown in for 24h just for the concert but received upon arrival a 4 week visa nobody could use as their flight was leaving the next morning.
