Fascinating. Thank you so much for doing this research for us. As an objective observer (Canadian) I suspected that Americans are closer to each other idealogically than they think they are. They’re just too full of hate for the other to see it. I think they like fighting, tbh /1
It’s like they enjoy the tribalism and the community/bonding feeling of being part of a team. As an ex fundamentalist Muslim, I can see the extreme allure and the extreme danger of the us vs them attitude. Anyway, again, thank you so much for all your efforts in clarifying this/2
