Imo it's what it symbolizes- and is forced. places where a woman has to "ask permission" of a husband, father, brother to even leave the country. And they can and do, yank them back physically, that is a problem for me. It is slavery.
I sometimes wonder when I see ex-Muslims defending Niqabis. It’s rare to see ex-christians defending the more extreme Christian sects so its puzzling.
