Light-bulb moment: when I realized that Orthodox Jews aren't superior - they have the same ailments as all populations: - physical, emotional, psychological, & sexual abuse - domestic violence - mental illness - suicide - substance abuse - financial crimes - the list goes on
I was told that Muslims were superior, but I had trouble believing it
It was evidently not so. I thought it must be just morally superior because it was obviously not financially/technologically etc. But then the rejoicing over 9/11 happened and I discovered that was BS too.

1. Ppl/communities who need to constantly remind e/o of their superiority, so obviously have a major inferiority complex 2. "We're superior" is also a way to rationalize/justify living such a rigid existence w/ zero autonomy. Because if it isn't special, why tf are we doing this?
