The left love useful victims. None of these people can be exploited for a narrative, so there's no reason to have a faux outrage regarding the victims of these countries. The biggest victims are here in these countries. Those that care will be individuals, not ideologues.
It reminds me of how London Mayor Sadiq Khan loves to virtue signal about making a stand against Trump (the leader of a nation where Muslims can freely practice their faith) yet didn't speak a word of protest about the Premier of China or the Emir of Kuwait making official visits
Also with Muslims within the UK at risk of FGM or ex-Muslims who fled threats of 'honour' killings (which is plain murder, there is no 'honour' about it) or having acid thrown in their faces by vengeful relatives.
