Hubs and I will have been married 10 years this January. I’ve heard/been warned by other couples who have been married longer that years 10-12 can be hard. Has anyone married past these years experiences this? We have a good marriage but I just want to be aware
It’s the weirdest thing. My friend warned me, and I thought I was prepared...but we still almost didn’t make it. Good news is if you make it through that really bad time, it will be smoother sailing than it was before. I didn’t believe it, but it ended up being true for me too.

Oh thank you so much for sharing Yasmine! My sister just got divorced after 12 yrs of marriage, and my in laws have said that ur 11-12 was difficult for them too (they’ve been married 33 yrs) it’s this looming thing, I hope being aware of it will be enough!

Just remember, when the water gets choppy-hang on tight. Take a break if you must (we did), but try to make it through to the other side before making any long-term decisions
