Im neither Black nor American so Ive been quiet on this topic, but I feel you’ll listen in good faith. I think reparations are long overdue-but not on an individual basis...in Canada, for ex, we offer free post-secondary education to approved Aboriginal Canadians 1
It’s one form of reparation. A way to say, we fucked up your educations w Residential Schools and this is all we can do to try and right that wrong that will never be ‘righted’, but it’s an attempt. I think the US can implement similar policies, do you? 2

I hear what you’re saying. Whether one agrees with “reparations” or not should depend on the policy being proposed. The Canadian example is a good one, however, the American situation is much more complex.
