This is a thing But please dont forget that Arabs are the first victims of Islam. Islam and Arab culture are intertwined, but they are distinct. There are 23 Arab countries-we used to all have different cultures before Islam made us look like a monolith. There are Jewish, Christian, pagan, atheist etc Arabs that share cultural aspects minus the religion.

Islamic traditions and Arab culture are not one and the same and they can definitely be divorced. I’m incredibly proud of my Arab heritage and incredibly ashamed of what Islam has brought to this world. Islam/Sharia holds Arabs back from their potential.

That’s ridiculous. Whether causally or not, Islam saw arabs go from an insignificant nomadic people to the best civilization on earth until the 12th century renaissance made the west the best again.
