This is part of the reason I *despise* snarky-Twitter. These reptiles think their feigned irreverence makes them cool, but it actually makes them arrogant fucks. Any mouth-breather can hide behind half-assed meme-coated “humor”. It’s hard to be serious, informed, sincere.https://twitter.com/SarahTheHaider/status/1146234737570308096 …

Hey yaz. Agree that anger is a normal response (especially in our position), but I’m not sure it serves a useful purpose. Today, I’m mostly disappointed in myself for getting riled up. It seems to me that anger is effective for rallying the base, I don’t know if it changes minds.

Anger scares and unsettles many people, myself included at times. I try to harness my anger to be a motivator for the change I want in my life and to enact changes in the world around me.

Absolutely. Being pummeled your whole life for being born a girl, for not lowering your eyes and getting in line and doing as you’re told...you eventually either submit or get angry. I got angry and used it to propel myself fwd. I’ll never apologize for my anger. It saved my life

I like you both and do understand the cause, but I disagree with this strongly. Anger won't help you here and seldom helps any non-emergency situation. Think clearly and calmly. Hardly possible when anger overrides everything.
