I usually tag people (not always - sometimes I’m doing a thread with several tweets) but I don’t get many respond to it. I think they’re afraid

People should tweet more praise of me, so I'd have things to RT.
Criticizing tweets without tagging people seems more like courtesy to me. Reduces chance of unpleasant mentions. People often ask for their tags to be removed from discussions of what they posted. ("Don't @ me.") Twitter is a bad chat system.
I need to RT more
There exists a school of thought that retweets are problematic.https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2018/04/the-case-against-retweets/554078/ …
When I retweet something I mostly comment on it, sometimes with an emoji or two (e.g.
), other times with words, so my profile picture appears on most of my retweets. I always thought it was lazier not to comment, or I'd turn into one of those accounts who only retweet, lol.
If you look down my timeline and see only my profile picture it’s probably not my morning and I’m using @IFTTT to send images and other shite to The Twitters without having to be here.
:-)
My time line is mostly likes. Already know what I know so my reading different opinions gives me perspective. I call it obsessive “self-obsession.” I read and digest all your tweets. Thank you.
