I’ve actually seen some neo-Nazi types try to justify Islamic terror groups committing mass shootings in Jewish neighborhoods and throwing gay people of off rooftops. Even Farrakhan supporters have said the same things.

Right, thanks Graeme. It’s a pretty sick mind that would be impressed by ISIS, but I can understand how it would appeal to Spencer and his ilk. The supremacy mindset is similar, and ISIS were a ‘success story’ as it were. Thankfully theres nothing to be impressed about these days

In his defense: what he found appealing was not the violence but the creation of an identitarian movement ex nihilo. Which is indeed impressive in a morally neutral way!

ISIS doesn’t get credit for that. They didn’t create it ex nihilo. The movement has existed for 1400 yrs...but they were the ones who were able to create a physical place for all the ppl w that mindset from all over the world to convene.
