I feel for ex-muslims. It is really a bad situation where they are not entirely free even in non-muslim countries. While I sympathize their situation, it was not Islam that drew them away but the attitude of a majority of muslims who follow a deviant ideology which hijacks Islam.

Are you Ahmadi? The tiny minority group of less than 1% of Muslims? The group that is killed by mainstream Muslims?

I have had enough threats in my life dear. Probably because I refuse to be a sunni or shia or one of the many other flavours of Islam. Allah did not create flavours.

So is that a yes?

No. My morher was sunni and my father was shia. Imagine that! I am just muslim.

So if the majority are wrong and have ‘hijacked’ Islam...who are the minority that are right that you are referring to?

The few who pray and observe the faith without the dramatics, condemnation and marketing. Those that observe islam as a spiritual faith. It was the way till a few decades ago. Then it went sideways when people began representing Allah and citing methods of allegiance.
