The few who pray and observe the faith without the dramatics, condemnation and marketing. Those that observe islam as a spiritual faith. It was the way till a few decades ago. Then it went sideways when people began representing Allah and citing methods of allegiance.
You sound like a reformer, and I support you. But don’t pretend it’s true Islam. Read up on Islamic History. That’s true Islam. Muslims need to walk away from literal interpretations or ‘true Islam’ the way it was practiced by Muhammad and the Sahaba.

You also mentioned something that I wholeheartedly agree. Literal Islam is dangerous. The Koran is a book that needs to be studied in great detail and assessed, questioned and reviewed from a rational perspective. ‘Rational’ is another issue.

I agree that muslims need to walk away from as you put ‘Liberal Interpretations’. However, written history is also to be regarded with a pound of salt. Gather information, gather knowledge but make up your mind based on your own wisdom.
