Something always rubbed me the wrong way about this guy. How he's always dressing the part, seems like he's putting up a performance. Seems my gut feeling was right.

Yeah, he's a shrewd sectarian, NOT a principled man. He uses lies n manipulated stories (I've seen proof of that related to my home country) while nurturing a perception of being honest and having integrity. Sadly, too many in the west gobble it up w/o any critical thinking..
