I have a lot of respect for you Yasmin, I’m a Christian that grew up in a Muslim country, I too had pressure to dress a certain way & live my life according to the main religion of the country, I understand where you’re coming from.

Doesn’t one gain a lot more than that? Have an education and career of one’s choosing? Own a home, business, go where one wants, associate with whom one wants, raise one’s children as one sees fit?
