What does "it's Sunnah" imply?
It is definitely a cause for cognitive dissonance, but I'm glad they're at least confused instead of just saying :"It's Sunnah!" like my mom used to say...
Sunnah is basically the way of the prophet, so when you follow what he did, you are following Sunnah.
