My mom would have hit me over the head with literally anything she could grab. She's not Muslim, but she's Middle Eastern, so the bashing is inherent.
Yes, an Egyptian mom specialty is her shibshib or slipper, but ya...anything will do. I once got a mug to the head and she wouldn’t call 911 even though I was bleeding so much because she didn’t want to get in trouble.

Jesus. As a mom now, I honestly don’t know how they did it. I can’t imagine ever purposefully hurting my child.
