I'm not sure how you change the mindset of an entire culture. It is so engrained it's hard to imagine how they can brought out of the 4th century.
Change happens quickly. In 30 yrs we went from cancelling @TheEllenShow because she kissed a woman on air, to celebrating her on our TVs daily now.
True. But the starting point here, and the willingness to change, appear to be far different than what exists in fundamentalist Islam.
