Im old enough to remember a time when if someone threw a milkshake, we would unanimously condemn the action and shame the person. It’s surreal to me that this is actually a debate. When I wore niqab, someone from a passing car threw a McDonald’s drink at me. There’s no debate.

You walking along minding your own business wearing an item of clothing, and getting something thrown at you, is in no way comparable to a dangerous, fascist politician like farage having a drink thrown over him. So yes, there is a debate, if THAT is your reasoning.
Of course it is. We both had drinks thrown on us because someone disagreed w our views. You have every right to disagree w someone and even hate them for their politics, you might even be right, but once you start throwing drinks like a child having a temper tantrum, you lose.

No, Farage had a drink thrown over him because of his dangerous views & ACTIONS, because he is out in public campaigning & trying to push those dangerous views. You were a private citizen walking down a street & were targeted. It's rather odd you don't see the obvious difference.
