Just like criticism of Israel-again, no one does this more than Jewish ppl. It is not hard to criticize the religion or the state of Israel without being antisemitic...Jews do it everyday. There is a very clear difference.

If only I could say the same for Muslims-they generally abhor criticism of Islam. They don’t engage in it and they don’t want any one else to either. Users of the term Islamophobia want to conflate criticism of ideas w bigotry so they can criminalize the act of criticizing Islam

But honestly, I firmly believe their efforts will fail. No country (without a Sharia govt) would ever accept this. You cannot criminalize criticism of ideas. Ppl will self-sensor, out of fear or cowardice, but the UK govt will not fall for this lame effort at a blasphemy law.

That's very true. Blindly believing something requires no thought. You cannot grow and remain relevant if you don't adapt. You can't adapt if you don't think. Education and critical thinking are drilled into everyone as necessity from childhood.

Unlike Muslims, they have no issues w critical thinking, questioning, cherry-picking etc. Why would they ever want to criminalize criticism of Judaism...what else would they do when they get together for family dinners?
Very different.
