Equality within our society is crucial! Having a sensible, reflective discussion, debate around topics that matter. Without any faction of society feeling their being targeted. I feel most often that such debates get heated and therefore cause irrational arguments.

I support gender segregation at islamic places of worship as long as muslim men have a demented and reprehensible outlook about women or respect the status of women. What is the point of a man in a mosque if he prays beside a woman where he cannot control his carnal urges?

That's the power of isalmic indoctrination. It's has the power to make women think that they are unworthy of equality or basic rights. Internalized misogyny is the biggest threat to women who want to be free.

Yeah, many people don't realise how often fundamentalist women in Muslim communities are the enforcers when it comes to imposing the hijab, niqab, or even FGM on their daughters.
