I agree. I grew up in a world where speech is censored. It’s not a good thing. It’s what you expect from dictatorships though, not from supposedly liberal-leaning entities.

While Free Speech allows for uncivil discourse, no one is obligated to provide a platform for such discourse. No one is stopping Jones et al from buying their own damn megaphones.

I hear you, Ron. But, on the other side of the world, we both would be silenced or even imprisoned or killed for saying what we say. I know they’re a private corp and not gov, but this is why free speech is so important. Let them talk. And let us talk too. That’s a free society.

Jones, notably, repeatedly violated the TOS, and this has been explained time and again, ad nauseum. Pretending no rules were broken is deliberate ignorance at this point.

If you can’t verify that how can you be sure. Since losing access to platform , Jones influence has greatly reduced. Another example is Milo, who has gone off for good. Getting rid of these conspiracy theorists is good.

I hate social media and unfortunately they can do as they please. They do not to abide by any rules other that their own. Since people keep using Facebook, what is their downside to the decision?
