The oppression of women due to discriminatory laws is not ‘culture’. That’s an insult to all Iranians. Gender apartheid is not ‘culture’ in Iran just like racial apartheid wasnt just ‘culture’ in South Africa.
I would leave it on resident Iranians (Muslims and non-Muslims) to decide what they want. Quran and Sunnah give u way of life for most aspects so it is bound to change culture. It is fact, any religion changes culture at some extent.
