Muslims are being killed too-any Muslim deemed not Muslim enough...Ahmadis, Sufis etc. Yazidis are being tortured and killed... Everyone is being killed by Islamic extremists. The planet has a severe issue on its hands and no one is steering the ship. There’s no captain.

There is something that could be done: ban all funding to extremist mosques around the world from gulf countries. The rise of Wahabism around the world is mostly because of this money. Using control of banking systems to completely shut it down would make a huge difference.

The Pope is the head of the Catholic church which makes up approximately 50% of all Christians, he is totally unimportant to more than a billion other Christians.
That's true in every religion
Every church I have attended has been run locally other than a few high level business issues. There is no central authority other than the Bible and even that can be interpreted differently by each group.
May be worth noting that there are millions of Christians who don’t recognize the authority of the Pope.
