Why don’t you guys hash this out on @benshapiro’s Sunday special?
I’m sure you’ll have much more to talk about; should be interesting. Certainly nothing much getting accomplished on twitter.

I’d love to see @YasMohammedxx discuss it with Ben
Ben probably hates me now, but there’s nothing to hash out-his position is clear: I have the right to have disdain for whomever I want as long as I’m not impinging on their personal freedom-and my disdain is protected under religious freedom. And he’s right. 1
That is his right. But it doesn’t mean it’s right. If he’s going to publicly declare his disdain and expect no backlash from ppl then that’s delusional. Of course ppl will criticize his open homophobia. Of course we think his stance against inter-faith marriage is intolerant.
1. Why do you think he’s homophobic? He’s friends with @RubinReport; last I heard them discuss this; Ben said something to the effect of he wouldn’t bake him a wedding cake. Not sure that qualifies as homophobia.
2. Never heard of the interfaith marriage bit.
He said he wouldn't even go to Rubin's anniversary party. That's fucked up! He also said something about not attending an interfaith wedding if one party was Jewish.
I mean; that’s edged up, yes But the irony is he said this while sitting on Rubin’s house, while both are laughing, then they went out drinks afterwards I mean maybe I’m a glass half full kinda person; but if people can disagree in that manner that’d be progress.
True. And I know Ben's obviously not Westboro Baptist bad, but he's somewhere on that spectrum of shitty beliefs.
Honestly. Like is that the bar now? Are we supposed to be ok w public displays of homophobia as long as they’re not throwing ppl off roofs?
