      Why aren’t their children ‘pure’ enough to still be part of the tribe? Why can’t they be accepted and ADD to that 12M? Because they’re tainted w non-Jew blood? Do you see how that’s a stance that should be criticized? It’s not immune from criticism because its religious.

      Reform Jews have moved beyond that archaic thinking because they’ve recognized how it is wrong for many reasons. Hopefully Ben will realize that too. And even if he doesn’t, it’s not going to stop all of us from responding and criticizing it.

      @YasMohammedxx You're spot on. It doesn't matter how this attitude was born, it's straight-up Jewish Supremacy. It's one thing to have a preference, which most cultures do, but to then not go to the wedding, shun the union, etc. is bigotry, period.

      I have 2 friends that have converted to Judaism. Both are as zealous about all the Jewish traditions as a Muslim convert or a born-again Christian would be. They try so hard to prove their ‘Jewness’. I realize it’s only my experience, but my point is-the heritage can be preserved

          I also have Jewish friends who actively shun anything related to their traditions. Bottom line: preserving traditions is unrelated to interracial marriage. Encourage ppl to preserve the traditions and marry in the tribe, fine. But shunning ppl who refuse is the problem.
