It can be criticized, but the other person has a right to respond to criticism too. It’s a two way street. I see both points, but we have to be careful on policing the thoughts of others. That’s not freedom, and it usually makes the situation worse.

I get why you're upset about this, but honestly this is a rather minor thing from my perspective. I don't mind religious groups being exclusive towards other groups. If they want to even go 'full Amish' and separate themselves, that's fine. Probably better for the rest of us.

An open border advocate could certainly use your line of argument here. I think your making a conflation here without being aware of it. The will to preserve one's religion/heritage isn't the same thing as the will to prevent others from developing or preserving theirs.

My guess is you are going to have a problem with almost any orthodox religious person of any faith.

I can't speak for Ben. But halacha does not say they're "tainted," or children of non-Jewish fathers & Jewish mothers wouldn't be considered Jewish. And fathers of patrilineal kids (zera yisroel) are halachically obligated to convert the kids. See: https://www.yeshiva.co/midrash/33175
