Why aren’t their children ‘pure’ enough to still be part of the tribe? Why can’t they be accepted and ADD to that 12M? Because they’re tainted w non-Jew blood? Do you see how that’s a stance that should be criticized? It’s not immune from criticism because its religious.

Reform Jews have moved beyond that archaic thinking because they’ve recognized how it is wrong for many reasons. Hopefully Ben will realize that too. And even if he doesn’t, it’s not going to stop all of us from responding and criticizing it.

Perfect argument. Skin colour? Beliefs? I really couldn't care less. Are babies healthy and cute? That's pretty much the only thing to worry about when it comes to the next generation.
-
My husband is white, and I’ve been told that I’ve ‘tainted’ the bloodline w my non-whiteness. I wasn’t even offended because I just found it to be so ridiculous. It did make me feel like having 10 more kids though

For starters, they don't have 5000 years of others trying to wipe them off the map. I don't see messages like "kill all whites" spray painted on churches. There aren't jokes about the difference between a pizza and white in an oven. ... that's just for starters.
-
That’s true, but they’re also concerned about ‘self-preservation’ like you. They’re threatened by ppl like me that come around and marry their white folk and taint the bloodlines. The children are no longer ‘white’ and not part of the tribe. I’m sure you see the parallels.

You’re comparing Judaism to skin color? Judaism is an ethno-spiritual tribe with certain rules for joining the tribe. This is like me coming to the Cherokee nation and being like “I don’t care if I’m not part of your tribe, you not wanting to marry me is bigotry!” No it’s not.
-
So in fact the reason has less to do with “survival” and more to do with “basic rules for joining a tribe.” I can disagree on rigidness in some cases but I don’t disagree with the notion that a tribe can make its own rules for what is required to join it.

Or black separatists who are also opposed?
-
Good point, they seem to be under the radar all the time. Nobody talks about the fact that in USA there are more black separatists and black nationalists group than white ones. According to SPLC.
