Bigotry is still bigotry even when it's directed at organized religion. How you can't see that what your saying, in and of itself, is bigotry further solidifies the idea that atheism is a religion. Low viewer numbers lately?

Your ignorance is shocking. Your disdain for those who believe in the traditional Judeo-Christian religious values upon which America and the Western world were built is predictable. You need not “accept” our beliefs, but neither may you infringe upon our right to believe.

Beside the FACT that the western world has been built upon judeo Christian religion. I'm atheist but history is history. And I'm grateful for the Christian religion and the ones that came before making it possible.

I think you disagree with Ben on what "intolerance" means. I believe "intolerance" is when you try to make people act the way you believe is right. You can not accept someone's beliefs and even refuse to support them without ever actively trying to change their behavior.

I don't think his position is one of bigotry. It's just part of his religious belief that doesn't harm anyone else, just like abstaining from pork isn't harming anyone. Similarly, my religious beliefs lead me to be pro-life. No violence incited, just our beliefs lived-out.

o I have a viewpoint, and this view is different from yours. o My having a different viewpoint somehow implies that I demand you accept it. o And that is (still) bigotry. We really need to teach Logic 101 in ALL preschools, middle schools and colleges to avoid this nonsense.
